Braintree BID team calls it a day after reaction from traders
Chamber is of course "parent" to the Braintree BID and it is rather sad that traders could not agree to work together and share the common load of the cost of keeping the town vibrant.

Since the Town Centre Strategy Group was lost in Council cutbacks last year and its tasks taken up by the BID group, it also means that there is very little in the way of a town centre business organisation per se.

Hey Ho, we will see what eventuates.

Don't forget that the last BID team project is the Business Showcase - a great opportunity to network and sell your company to other local businesses. On July 26th, at the Braintree Arts Theatre (by Notley School), bookings are now being taken for both exhibitors and attendees (who get in for free and get a goodie bag for being pre-registered!).

A host of historic information can be found in our easy to use database - happy hunting!
